Following Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan's allegations on YSR party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the social media fight between the two rival political parties has made it that the upcoming elections will be a triangular socialcontest in Andhra Pradesh. Soon social media has gone to revive old fakenews which had surfaced in 2014 before the elections alleging Jagan's sister Sharmila with links to Bahubali hero Prabhas. In fact, Prabhas had given clarification in2014 itself as captured in this video: Here's the link to 2014 clarification given by actor Prabhas to the media: https://www.facebook.com/ravi.t.kunaparaju/posts/10202164860267446 Though last time the false propaganda subsided after the election defeat of YSR Congress, it was renewed again but this time YS Sharmila not only condemned but took the matter to the police in Hyderabad, urging them to act against those maligning her on the social media. Her husband Anil Kumar, who accompanied her to meet the Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar in Hyderabad, rubbished the false reports. Sharmila told media that it was a conspiracy by the vested interests to defame her just before the general elections with malafide intentions. Blaming the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), she said, "Such false propaganda had started before the 2014 elections and has swung back with elections fast approaching now...I strongly believe that TDP is behind spreading the rumour." Ms Sharmila said she had never even spoken to Prabhas."Being a mother, wife and person with family bond, it hurts when such slanderous campaign is carried out. If I do not react, my silence may lead to some unpleasant conclusions. That's why I lodged the complaint seeking action," she said.
