A photo of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posing with Salman Khan is going viral on social media on the sidelines of the Ambani wedding festivities which stormed Internet over the past few months. The photo shows Aishwarya Rai posing with Salman Khan and his sister Arpita Khan with a claim that reads: “Aishwarya didn’t arrive with the Bachchan family, and now she’s having picture with Salman bhai. This is my multiverse of madness.”

The context is clear. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan entered the venue of Ambani’s wedding on July 12 with her daughter Aaradhya and missed the family photo of Bachchan’s family at the gala event. While Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek, daughter Shweta, son-in-law Nikhil Nanda, and the grandchildren posed for the group photo, Aishwarya and Aaradhya reached the venue much later and missing it. This has raised enough controversy in the Bollywood media.
Coinciding with the controversy, the photo started making rounds on social media, as Aishwarya was known as an erstwhile friend of Salman Khan in Bollywood.
FACT-CHECK
Digiteye India debunked similar claims in the past and took up the latest viral photo. A Google reverse Image search showed that it was an altered photo. Here’s the original video that featured Salman Khan with his sister Arpita but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not seen with them as claimed.

It is clear from the footage that both Aishwarya and salman Khan did not share space for the photo as claimed. Hence, the viral photo was edited and altered to show them together, owing to the old controversy between Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
