Several social media users have claimed that Bangladesh’s women team is playing in burqas at ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. Verified X user ‘GemsOfCrickets’ made such a claim by allegedly sharing an image from the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 match between New Zealand and Bangladesh. The caption of the post read :”Bangladesh Women’s Team” with a skull emoji, mocking the team.
