FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim. While the claims of the suspension are accurate, when we performed a Google reverse image search for various keyframes from the video, the results directed us to the actual incident from 20th March 2021 in a video posted by the Siasat Daily on their Youtube channel.
As per the Siasat daily, the fire accident happened due to fire crackers burnt to celebrate victory of BRS member in an MLC election. Other users and news outlets had shared the footage on 20th March 2021 which can be viewed here, here and here.
Following these results, we conducted a keyword search with the phrase “fire accident at Telangana Bhavan,” and landed on a report published by the Times of India on 20th March 2021, confirming the accident.
It states how a “minor fire broke out at Telangana Bhavan, the party headquarters of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), on Saturday when the party cadre burst crackers to celebrate the victory of Surabhi Vani Devi who won the election from Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Graduates’ MLC constituency.”

Searches for recent fires at Telangana Bhavan in September 2025 yielded no results or reports of any such event. Hence, the claim is misrepresentation.
