Several social media users have claimed that the Chinese female SWAT team defeated India’s male squad at a tactical tournament in the UAE. Verified X user ‘PolymarketIntel’ shared such a claim with the caption : An all-female Chinese SWAT team defeated an all-male Indian squad at a UAE tactical competition. The post is accompanied by a 2:46 video clip that compares both the team’s performance. View the post below –

DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and discovered that it is misleading. The video has been altered with a different voiceover, and there is no evidence that the Chinese female SWAT team competed directly against the Indian male team. Official records also do not show any event where female teams were matched against male teams.
We first conducted a web search with the phrase “Dubai SWAT challenge” to learn more about the tournament. As per the official UAE SWAT challenge website, the 7th UAE SWAT Challenge ran February 7–11, 2026, at the Dubai SWAT training facility, hosted by Dubai Police. The event ended on February 11, 2026 with Kazakhstan “C” being crowned champions “after securing first place in the general standings with a total of 536 points.”
Next, we checked the “teams” section on the official website and learned that India entered one team of the NSG (National Security Guard). On the other hand, China entered 6 teams, from China Police A to China Police F. View a screenshot of China’s team below and their performance in the 2026 championship –
After learning about both India’s and China’s team, we searched whether China’s female team faced India. As per an article by PRN, a total of 8 all female teams were presented at the UAE SWAT challenge from China sent 2 female teams. The article also noted that “Chile and South Africa are taking part with mixed-gender teams,” but there was no mention of India’s female team. View a section of this article below –
Following this, we checked the rankings of the event and found out that India’s NSG ranked 62 in the table. On the other hand, China’s Police C ranked 3rd, China Police A ranked 4th and China Police B ranked 11th among others. According to an article by Bastille Post Global, China’s female team from the Suichuan province took 1st among female squads in the Assault Event. However, China’s female teams were not pitted directly against India’s male NSG since India did not send a female team. View a section from the article below –
Lastly, we analyzed the video in the claim and found that the commentary over the clips is mixed. One commentary talks about only the Chinese female team vs Kazakhstan (as heard in the beginning of the video) in English while the other one is in Chinese. Separate clips were stitched together in the claim, placing China’s women’s team next to India’s men’s team to create the false impression that they were competing against each other.
Thus, the claim is misleading.
