FACT-CHECK
Banning production of Tesla is not likely without evidence or serious technical flaws, as it involves a policy decision. As of now, there is no such announcement from the White House, nor any news report to substantiate the claim in the video. In fact, an official video by Trump on June 3, 2025 when he announced a travel ban on 12 countries, was doctored and tweaked to show him speaking against Musk.
Secondly, the video from the key ceremony when Musk left DOGE office has been doctored in all respects, from exaggerated style, with dramatic subtitles, image flipping, background variation and emojis, suggesting that it was fictional and not real.
Of course, the news about Trump considering getting rid of his red Tesla, owing to his public spat with Musk — has been reported by USA Today quoting an unnamed White House official on June 6, 2025. As per the White House policies, though Trump announced changing EV subsidies, he never mentioned banning Tesla in particular. Hence, the video claim is false.
