An X post is going viral with a claim that United States President-Elect Donald Trump called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a “Soros agent” while responding to the congratulatory message sent by Congress leader.
Thank you Indian soros agent @RahulGandhi, but let’s be clear- someone who betrays their own country, aligning with anti-India elements like @georgesoros to undermine his homeland, cannot truly support America or my vision. Best to focus on your own affairs, Rahul. https://t.co/1MrCiUwWQ5

It’s part of the narrative to show that Rahul Gandhi has long been a George Soros agent by critics.

When Digiteye India checked for the original message, we realised that it was from a parody account and not by Trump. The bio reveals that it was a Fan Account Managed by @AshwiniSahaya.
Hello, everyone! How are my replies from @thedonaldtrumph to Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, @JustinTrudeau & Khalistanis?
Some people are claiming this account @thedonaldtrumph is run by the BJP IT Cell, but I’m definitely not part of the IT Cell.
Yet, I think I’ve done more…

The authentic official account of Trump goes by ‘@realDonaldTrump‘ and there is no such response to Rahul Gandhi’s congratulatory message. Ironic that the claim was made clearly by a parody account and yet it has gone viral.
Here is a comparison between the parody account and the original account.
Hence, this purported Trump’s response given to Rahul Gandhi’s authentic post is not real but made from a parody account.
Claim: United States President-Elect Donald Trump called Rahul Gandhi a “Soros agent” while responding to the congratulatory message sent by the Congress leader.
Conclusion: A post shared by a parody account under Donald Trump’s name, calling Rahul Gandhi a “Soros agent”, is going viral.
