FACT CHECK
The video suggests that Virat Kohli and his team are seen leaving Bengaluru for London with no remorse on deaths which occurred in the tragic stampede. When the Digiteye India team searched the social media further, it found that the video shows Virat Kohli when he returned to Mumbai and not from Bengaluru airport as claimed. Soon after the stampede, Virat Kohli released a statement on Instagram regretting the tragedy as seen below:
Secondly, the claim that they were leaving for London is also false. In fact, several news outlets have reported that they just arrived in Mumbai from Bengaluru. Several news outlets have also published pictures showing Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka leaving the airport and all visuals show them in the same dress and with the same background of Mumbai airport.
