Several social media users are circulating a viral clip and claiming that it is a sneak peek of the movie ‘Avengers : Doomsday’ trailer that was supposed to be released in theaters attached to ‘Avatar : Fire and Ash’. X user ‘karthick362533’ shared such a claim with the caption : “AVENGERS DOOMSDAY TRAILER LEAK. Sneak Peek at the Avengers: Doomsday trailer to be showing at theaters for AVATAR: FIRE And ASH.”
‘The attached 10-second video clip depicts Robert Downey Jr. (RDJ) as a scarred Doctor Doom, interspersed with shots of characters resembling the Fantastic Four and Marvel Studios branding. The post gained around 78,000 views and can be seen below –

DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is false. There has been no official confirmation or any trailer release of movie ‘Avengers : Doomsday’ by Marvel. There are reports about how Avatar : Fire and Ash will have four trailers attached to it but as of now there has not been any “sneak peek” and the video in the claim is an AI generated one.

We first conducted a reverse image search from various keyframes of the video to learn about the origin. None of the results took us to an official trailer released by Marvel on any of their official social platforms. This clip has only been circulated by unverified social media accounts with no credible evidence.
Following this, we conducted a web search with the phrase “Marvel Avengers : Doomsday trailer leaked” for more information. According to a report by Times of India, Marvel Studios plans four distinct teaser trailers, each approximately 1-1.5 minutes long, debuting sequentially in theaters: the first being on December 19. Another report published by IGN India also reported that Disney plans to increase Avatar : Fire and Ash viewership by attaching four different Avenger : Doomsday trailers.
