DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is AI generated. There has been no evidence or any credible media outlets that have covered this incident. Moreover, the watermark in the video “HiggsfieldAI” proves that the video was created using that platform.
We first conducted a web search using the phrase “Monkey serves idli in a restaurant” but did not find any verified reports. However, we came across several reports discussing how fake AI-generated videos have misled people. In the video one can see the customers amused seeing the monkey serving idlis, taking photos, clapping which convinces the viewers to believe it to be true and real.
For instance, a report published by Yahoo News UK mentions that AI-generated monkey videos have prompted police to search for them, but none were found as the videos were fake.
