FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is false. The clip being shared along with the claim is of cabinet minister Kimi Onoda, not Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. Moreover, there is no credible reports or evidence either from the Japanese Government or media outlets that supports PM Takaichi creating a “Ministry of Mass Deportations”.
We first conducted a web search with the phrase ‘PM Sanae Takaichi launches new ministry of mass deportations’ to learn about the claim. However, we did not find any credible source to support this claim. All the posts shared in social media regarding this also do not offer any substantial evidence.
After performing a reverse image search of various keyframes of the clip shared in the claim, we learned that the person in the video is cabinet minister Kimi Onoda. According to a report published by Japan Today, PM Takaichi created a new cabinet portfolio for promoting an “orderly coexistent society with foreigners,” appointing Kimi Onoda to that post”. As per the portfolio Kimi Onoda oversees policies on foreign nationals.

Upon searching for cabinet appointments of Prime Minister Sanae Takichi’s Office, we found the list on the official government website. Kimi Onoda is listed as a State Minister in the Cabinet Office with multiple portfolios. One of them is ‘In Charge of Promoting an Orderly Coexistence Society with Foreigners’. There is no mention of any Ministry of Mass Deportations under her portfolio. View a screenshot of this below –

Hence, the claim is false.
