Many users are sharing this video as proof of Rolls-Royce’s superior build quality, claiming it demonstrates the brand’s exceptional engineering. [Translated, it reads: A video is going viral on social media in which a heavy stone is dropped on a Rolls Royce car. In which the heavy stone breaks without any harm to the car.]

FACT-CHECK
A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led to the Instagram page and YouTube channel ‘realisticaivid’, which is run by graphic designer Ennachat Ayoub. Ayoub is known for creating highly realistic AI-generated content, often featuring extreme tests of vehicle durability.
Several visual inconsistencies in the video also reveal digital manipulation:
- Unnatural Shadows – The shadows cast by the falling boulder and surrounding objects do not behave realistically, a common flaw in AI-generated videos.
- Unrealistic Rock Fragmentation – When the boulder hits the car, it shatters in an unnatural way, with debris scattering in a manner inconsistent with real physics.
- Smooth and Flawless Car Surface – After such a massive impact, the Rolls-Royce should at least show some dents, scratches, or visible damage, but it remains completely untouched, which is highly unlikely in real-world conditions.
To further confirm the video’s authenticity, our team used AI video detection tools where the results showed it to be AI-generated , reinforcing that it does not depict a real event.
Otherwise, the original video was uploaded on February 28, 2025, and the description explicitly states that it was created using digital tools, confirming it is not real footage.
Further investigation into Ayoub’s content reveals that he frequently produces similar AI-generated videos. His past videos have included exaggerated car durability tests, such as vehicles surviving extreme crashes or being submerged in deep water without damage. These videos often gain traction because they appear highly realistic at first glance.
AI-generated videos like this one often go viral because they are visually impressive and seem realistic. Many viewers do not realize that advanced AI tools can create hyper-realistic visuals that mimic real-life physics, while social media algorithms prioritize engaging content, leading to widespread sharing before fact-checkers step in.
By then, car enthusiasts and brand loyalists may share such videos to emphasize their favorite brand’s durability, even if the footage is not authentic. This drives many people assume the video is real.
However, this claim is false—the video is entirely AI-generated and does not depict a real event.
Claim: Viral video shows a heavy stone is dropped on a Rolls Royce car but the rock breaks without any damage to the car.
Conclusion: Misrepresentation. The viral video of a Rolls-Royce withstanding a massive boulder is AI-generated and not real.
