Conclusion : The claim is Misrepresentation. While the real IndiGo-induced airport disruption occurred in December 2025, the video of Ram Mohan Naidu where he was seen dancing was from July 2025 during his cousin’s wedding ceremony, totally unrelated to the Indigo crisis.

DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is misleading. The claim alludes to a recent IndiGo chaos suggesting aviation minister’s indifference using an old, unrelated video. The video dates back to July 2025 and not during the Indigo crisis that gripped the nation in December 2025.

We first conducted a web search with the phrase “Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu dancing, December 2025” to get the original video. We came across several videos dating back to July 2025 and not December 2025.
One such Youtube video uploaded by Tone News on 29 July 2025 is titled : “Ram Mohan Naidu Dance at Sangeet Function | Srikakulam | TOne News” The minister is seen wearing the exact outfits and the visuals that match the the video in the claim. View the screenshot and video below:

This is confirmed by another video uploaded by ABN Telugu on 30 July 2025, that is titled : “సోషల్ మీడియా ను ఊపేస్తున్న రామ్మోహన్ నాయుడు డ్యాన్స్” | Central Minister Rammohan Naidu Dance Video. In English this reads : Rammohan Naidu’s dance is shaking social media | Central Minister Rammohan Naidu Dance Video.
Following this, we searched for actions taken by minister Naidu pertaining to the chaos and flight delays. He addressed the issue in Parliament on December 9, summoning IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers and directing a 10% schedule cut to stabilize operations.
A report by the Times of India has covered this and stated that “There will be a lot less domestic flights this winter as an under fire aviation ministry Tuesday evening decided to slash IndiGo’s schedule by 10%, doubling it from the 5% cut ordered earlier that day.” View a section from the report below:
