A video is going viral in social media claiming that Ganesh Aarti was played at the Dubai stadium after India’s victory. The context being that the Indian cricket team won over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 held on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Following India’s victory, several online claims started making the rounds to claim that a Ganesh Aarti was performed in the stadium soon after.

The claim reads: “When the Indian cricket team defeated Pakistan cricket team in Dubai the Indian fans once again started singing. This time it was the devotional religious Aarti to Lord Ganesh! Jai Ganpati Dada.” Another user shared the clip saying, “Ganesh Aarti is being played after India’s win…”

When tipped for fact-check on our WhatsApp, Digiteye India checked for the original and authentic video. Taking key frames from the video in the post, we checked on Google Reverse Image Search. The results showed a video seen below which was not from Dubai but from the Wankhede Stadium when it celebrated 50th anniversary. See the original full video uploaded on January 19 here:
