FACT CHECK

DigitEYE India decided to fact check this claim and found that it was false.

Yuvraj Singh has expressed his concerns for the people affected by the floods of Punjab and shared a heartfelt message on social media X platform saying Punjab is my home and soul and these floods have been painful, and said he will do everyting to support those affected by floods. We first conducted a keyword search with the phrase “Yuvraj Singh donates 600 tractors” to learn about this news. No credible media outlet has reported such a big donation but such claims are spread by vague accounts.

Upon checking his foundation, ‘YouWeCan’ website, we did not find any information regarding this. As seen in their values and mission, they are mainly focused on cancer awareness, screening, treatments and the empowerment of cancer survivors. View a section from their website:

We then checked Yuvraj Singh’s social media accounts for any information on this transaction. On 7th September, 2025, he praised IAS Sakshi Sawhney on both his Instagram and X account for helping the people of Punjab during the floods. However, there was no reference or any mention about tractors or ₹42 crore worth donations.
