FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is completely false. There have been no credible media reports or Government announcements about any free Splendor bike scheme. The audio is clearly manipulated using AI.
We first conducted a web search with the phrase “PM Modi announces free Splendor bike scheme” to learn about the claim. There were no verified reports by any media outlets nor any official announcements on the Prime Minister’s Office website.
Following this we noticed several inconsistencies including a random bank account message as seen in the claim. When we conducted a reverse image search from the image shown in the claim, we found an exact match to a video uploaded on the Youtube channel of PMO India 6 years ago, announcing a Kisan scheme.
The original video described Prime Minister Modi’s address during the 2019 launch event of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. View the video of it below:
Below, one can see how Modi’s image is taken from a different event of 2019, and made a fake claim by manipulating the audio.

Similarly, second claim was made taking Modi’s image from another event as seen below:

Lastly, after finding several audio overlays and lip-sync manipulations, we extracted the audio from the reel and put it in an AI audio detector. The results revealed that this audio is likely AI generated with only 1% of it being real. View the results below:

Thus, the claim is totally false and the audio is AI generated.
