Rating: Totally False — Five rating

Recently, a viral video has been circulating on social media platforms such as Facebook, allegedly featuring Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murty promoting a financial investment. The video, widely shared by an account named “Triade Wine,” urges users to click on a registration link. It transitions to text screens promoting QuantumAI as an AI-driven platform backed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and celebrities like Murty, Nirmala Sitharaman, Mukesh Ambani, and Gautam Adani. It promises 98% profitability on commodity markets with a Rs. 25,000 minimum deposit.

X user ‘vani_mehrotra’ shared a screen recording of the full video to raise awareness and warn people against falling for such scams. The complete video can be found in her post  here.

The complete transcript of the video is as follows :  “A number of investors have already joined and are earning from Rs 10 lakh per month. Unfortunately, we are now forced to stop the registration, as our team is no longer able to handle the influx of new clients. All those who wish to join will have a chance to register only until the end of this day and only through the link that I will request to be placed below this video. If the link is still active and you are able to access it. Congratulations. You still have the opportunity to become an investor.”

FACT CHECK

DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is false. The video is a deepfake, manipulated to misuse Sudha Murty’s image for promoting a scam. In a clarification video, Murty has debunked such videos and urged citizens to be aware of such scams.

Details:

We first conducted a web search with the phrase “Sudha Murty investment scheme” to learn more. No credible news supports the claim and there is no such official information from the Government. ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and others whose logos have been used have not commented on this.

Following this, conducted a reverse image search to learnabout its origin but couldn’t locate it precisely. We then extracted the audio from the video and ran it through an AI detector to check its authenticity. The results turned out to be only 47% real, signaling that this may be AI generated. View the results below –

Upon checking for any official clarification, Sudha Murty issued a direct warning on her official X account on January 21, 2026, stating that fake videos using her image and voice to promote investments are deepfakes created without her consent. She urged verification through official channels and reported that people she knows have lost money to these scams. The post further cautions that “do not make any financial decisions based on these fraudulent videos.”

The same message was shared on her Instagram account, view a screenshot below –

Lastly, we searched about the Quantum AI investment whose page came up in this fraudulent video. We learned from a report that QuantumAI is a fraudulent scheme frequently promoted via deepfakes involving celebrities and politicians. The report mentions how Quantum AI “feature public figures such as Boris Johnson, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, appear to have tricked a number of people into handing over their cash.” View a section from the report below –

Thus, the video is AI generated and the claim is totally false.
