X user ‘noinconsistency’ made such a post, claiming that “Donald Trump has sadly passed away at the age of 79,” accompanied by a black-and-white image of the US president. We first conducted a web search with the phrase “Donald Trump” to get the latest news about him. Upon checking his official Truth Social account, numerous posts were made by Trump on 27 January, 2026. His recent posts on Truth Social showcase his attendance at the CFP National Championship, his post on endorsing Tracey Powell and conversation with Mayor Jacob Frey, of Minneapolis among others. Following this, our web search for reports on Trump’s death in January 2026 yielded no official announcements that it would attract. The White House and Trump’s team have not issued any statements on his alleged death claim. Moreover, the death of a US President would trigger widespread media coverage which was evidently missing when this claim was made. Earlier too, there have been rumours about Trump’s death in September 2025 which have been reported by Al Jazeera and PBS among other news outlets.
According to a report by The Gazette, Donald Trump will be visiting Iowa on Tuesday, 27 January, 2026.
