Recently several social media users have shared claims about a woman worker offering a packet of biscuit to a patient at Jaipur hospital only for a photoshoot. Verified X user ‘LoveFromManali’ shared such a post, claiming that the BJP Sewa Pakhwada gave a Rs. 10 biscuit packet, got the picture clicked and snatched it back. The post gained more than 207,000 views and can be seen below:

DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is true. Several reports and credible media outlets too confirm that this incident did take place. The footage is real and there is no proof of any manipulation or alteration.
The attached 22-second video shows BJP workers, identifiable by orange scarves with lotus symbols, distributing aid in a hospital ward. At approximately 12-15 seconds, the woman poses with a packet of biscuit alongside a female patient and then takes it away.
We first conducted a web search with the phrase “BJP worker snatches biscuit after photo” to learn about the issue. We landed on a report by NDTV Rajasthan that has covered this incident. The report states how the incident occurred at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital in Sanganer, Jaipur. It was a part of Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s constituency during the 2025 Sewa Pakhwada (September 17 to October 2). View a section of the report below –

Other media outlets including ABP Live News’ report on MSN sheds light on this. Published on October 3, 2025, it observes the Ward Coordinator Virendra Singh of the Sheopur division. The report also highlighted how people were calling this a “marketing stunt”, view a screenshot below –

A report by NDTV Rajasthan notes how Gopal Saini, the president of the BJP’s Shyoepur unit defended the actions. He stated the patient already had a biscuit packet and refused to take a second one. Moreover, the video clearly shows the worker posing for the video and moving on to the other patient with the biscuit packet.
Multiple sources confirm the incident occurred at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital in Sanganer, Jaipur. No edits or manipulations were noted in the video footage. Thus, the visual is true but the claim is rather misleading.
