FACT CHECK

DigitEYE India investigated this claim and found that it is false. The clip does not show RSS extremists vandalizing a Catholic school in Telangana or beating up  Fr. Raimon Joseph. This clip originates from a wedding in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh where guests rushed for free food.

We first conducted a reverse image search to find the original source of the video. We landed on a Youtube short uploaded by OrissapostLive on 27 November, 2025. The title of the clip is “Refreshments Looted At Hamirpur Mass Wedding” with a description explaining the situation. View the screenshot below –

The same incident has been confirmed and reported by others that can be seen here and here.

Following this, we conducted a web search with the phrase “mass wedding UP guests loot snacks” to learn about the claim. According to a report by Big TV on November 28, 2025, a “mass wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh turned violently chaotic this week. The event was organized for underprivileged couples in Hamirpur district. What began as a beautiful celebration quickly became a dangerous stampede.” View a section of the report below –

Another report published by NDTV on November, 27, 2025, mentions that “The mass wedding of 383 underprivileged couples was organised under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme at the sports ground of Brahmanand Mahavidyalaya in Rath town. After the wedding rituals of the couples were complete, snacks were being served” and the guests proceeded to grab it.

Next, we searched for reports about any recent attack on the school or Fr. Raimon Joseph. There was no evidence about any such attack or any news from Telangana about the incident.

On the other hand,  we came across an old report by Sabrang that a mob wearing saffron attacked and vandalized the Christian school on April 16, 2024 over a Ram Navami uniform dispute. They damaged a Mother Teresa statue and assaulted principal Fr. Jaimon Joseph (not Raimon as written in the claim), and applying tilak forcibly. View a section below –

Thus, the claim based on the video is false.
