A video showing Telugu actor Allu Arjun waving at the crowd in a roadshow is being shared with a claim that the actor is campaigning for the Congress party in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

FACT CHECK:
Digiteye India team checked for the authenticity of the social media post. We took some key frames and checked them on Google Reverse Image Search. The results showed that the image was taken from a roadshow in 2022 when the actor participated in annual India Day parade in New York.
Allu Arjun was invited to represent India as grand marshal at the annual India Day parade in New York in August 2022. Here is the video, where the actor is seen holding the Indian flag, and not the Congress flag.

Conclusion: The claim is false. The image shows Allu Arjun representing India as grand marshal at the annual India Day parade in New York in August 2022.
