The original video was in Malay, Malaysia’s official language and the context was that it was a classroom lesson showing how an Islamic burial should be done. The video was also seen with a caption in Malay as “Kursus Pengendali Jenazah”, which translates to “Corpse Management Course” in English.  The caption on the Instagram post also indicated that the video was from a funeral management course. Hence, a false claim.

Claim: A video depicts Gazans faking their deaths amidst the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Conclusion: No, the video is older than the conflict and belongs to a a funeral management course in Malaysia.
