Several users have shared a video claiming that Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi was abroad with a foreign girl. Verified X user ‘ArunKoslii’ shared such a post with the caption : कांग्रेस के 56 साल के झंडनायक किसी 9जवान महिला के साथ देखे गये है विदेश में. In English this reads: “Congress’s 56-year-old flag-bearer has been spotted abroad with a young woman.” The post gained around 1.2 million views and can be viewed here:

FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found that it is misleading. The woman in the video is Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s daughter, Miraya Vadra. She is the niece of Rahul Gandhi and not any young woman as interpreted.
To confirm the identity of the woman in the video, we conducted a reverse image search of various keyframes. The results took us to several pictures of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s daughter, Miraya Vadra on the internet. The visuals confirmed that the woman in the video was indeed Miraya Vadra, view it below:
Further, we searched for any official clarification by the Congress Party on this issue. Supriya Bhardwaj, member of the Indian National Congress took to X and clarified in a post : नेता विपक्ष @RahulGandhi जी का अपनी भांजी के साथ का सितंबर 2025 का वीडियो चला कर सार्वजनिक तौर पर अपशब्द कहना, बहुत घटिया सोच को दिखाता है. संस्कारों का ढोल पीटने वालों, कहाँ हैं तुम्हारे अपने संस्कार ??? Ruchira Chaturvedi, National Secretary, AICC – Communication too has posted about this on her X account which in English reads as:”Love, affection, relationships and connections—where do the Sanghis even understand them?
