Several social media users have been sharing a viral video clip of an exchange between Ashwarya Rai Bachchan and Indian Prime Minister Nardendra Modi. The post also shared a 29-second video clip purportedly showing Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan directly questioning PM Modi about India’s alleged military setbacks during “Operation Sindoor”. FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to fact check this claim and found that it is totally false. The audio has been manipulated by AI and the authentic footage of the event does not contain such lines. Moreover, there is no credible report by media outlets about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan asking those questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
We first began by conducting a reverse image search of various keyframes of the video to learn about the original source. Our search took us to the original video of the event which was uploaded on the Youtube channel of Sri Sathya Sai Hindi. The title of this video is : “शताब्दी समारोह: Visit of Hon’ble PM of India Mr Narendra Modi to Prasanthi Nilayam | Nov 19, 2025.”
In the video one can see that Aishwarya Rai was called on the stage to address the occasion. She spoke about 10 minutes (at Timestamp 2:05:18 to 2:14:01 in the below video).
During her speech, Aishwarya expresses devotion to Baba, noting his teachings continue to inspire millions despite a century since his birth. She thanks PM Modi for his presence, which adds sanctity and recalls Baba’s idea that true leadership means service to humanity as service to God.
