FACT CHECK

DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found it to be false. No credible news outlets or official White House sources have reported that Donald Trump fell before entering a vehicle. The viral video shows signs of AI-generated content and does not depict a real incident.

Details:

We first conducted a reverse image search on various keyframes from the video to gather more information. However, the search did not lead to any credible or verified sources. We also searched for official statements from the White House but found no announcement confirming that President Trump had fallen before entering a vehicle.

Following this, we conducted a web search using the phrase “Trump falls before entering a vehicle” to look for any verified reports. According to a report by McGill Media published on 1 July 2026, US President Donald Trump “appears to struggle as he enters his SUV.” The report further noted that Trump “seemed to lose his footing, pausing for several seconds on one leg to regain his balance before finally making his way inside.”

The report also embeds an X post by Fox News showing the incident. However, the embedded post does not show Trump falling. Instead, he briefly paused before regaining his balance. At the 0:12 timestamp, Trump paused slightly but by 0:16 he enters the vehicle safely without falling.

Following this, we downloaded the video shared in the claim and analyzed it using Hive Moderation’s AI detection tool to assess its authenticity. Across multiple segments of the video, the detector reported an AI-generated content probability of over 80%, indicating that the original clip had likely been manipulated. A screenshot of the results can be seen below –

Thus, the claim is false.
