Pakistani singer Atif Aslam singing at Salman Khan’s Kashipur event? Fact check

A concert organisers of Salman Khan’s show scheduled for Sunday evening in Uttarakhand claimed that Pakistani singer Atif Aslam would also be one of the participants.

Salman Khan’s non-profit organisation ‘Being Human’ is well-known but the scheduled event to be held at Ramleela Grounds in Kashipur, Uttarakhand has presented Pakistani singer Atif Aslam as one of the singers at the show in its posters on social media. See the poster:

The poster being circulated on Twitter shows that the Pakistani singer of Andeez organisation, famous worldwide, will be one of the four singers at the show being organised by Salman Khan’s Being Human, a charity organisation. The ticket is priced at Rs.500 for the event.

Co-hosted by MTV and RMP Music Industries, the poster said Salman Khan will present the event on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 4 pm onwards.

The singer’s Indian Aadeez Organisation that is responsible for holding his Indian concerts later clarified officially that the claim by organisers of the event was false. In fact, the singer was singing at an event in Dubai on Saturday, Nov. 23, just a day before the Kashipur event.

Here’s the Indian Aadeez Organisation’s tweet that said: “This Is Fake News/Rumour Which Is Spreading Like A Fire….Please Don’t Spread Fake News! There’s No Any News Of Atif Aslam Sir That He Is Visiting India! Yes Probably In Future He Will Definitely Gonna Come Back Again But Right Now This Event News Is Fake!”

Conclusion: It may be noted that Atif Aslam’s event in Lucknow in February 2016 was not allowed owing to clash of the event with another local event at the venue. The current claim was aimed at misleading people. Our rating for this news is ???? (Mostly False).
