FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to fact check this claim and found that it is misleading. The video depicts a Eucharistic procession from October 2023, organized by the Napa Institute, not a recent peace march. No such event occurred in September 2025 and this appears to be recycled for engagement.
The Napa Institute, a Catholic organization, hosts annual Eucharistic processions in NYC to promote faith and devotion, typically in October. These events involve priests, nuns and laypeople marching from St. Patrick’s Cathedral through Midtown Manhattan, focusing on Eucharistic adoration. A Eucharistic procession is a public demonstration of Catholic faith where the consecrated Host (the Real Presence of Jesus Christ) is carried in a monstrance through the community, often accompanied by prayer, hymns, and candles. (Eucharistic adoration is a Catholic, Orthodox, and some Anglican/Lutheran practice of worshipping Jesus in the Eucharist, or the consecrated host)
We first conducted a reverse image search of various keyframes of the video to learn about the source. Results date back to videos posted by the Napa Institute on October 12, 2023 describing an “incredibly blessed evening in New York City” with priests and religious participants. View the post below
An incredibly blessed evening in New York City with @NY_Arch and @RVCDiocese priests and religious. We were delighted to have @frmikeschmitz celebrate the opening mass and participate in the procession. God be praised! #catholic #catholicch #eucharist pic.twitter.com/MF3FA0qt1V

Official Napa Institute announcements confirm the 2023 procession occurred in October 2023, with Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral followed by a Midtown march. Find the details of the October 2023 procession here on their website. View a snippet of the schedule below –
When we searched for the following year, 2024 event, we came across a report published by the National Catholic Reporter published on 15 October 2024. The report observes how the “event at St. Patrick’s was largely apolitical and focused on the traditional Catholic piety of eucharistic adoration.” View a snippet from the report below –
Upon searching for information about a September 2025 procession in NYC, we did not find any credible reports. The 2025 Eucharistic Procession in NYC by Napa Institute is set for October 14 as mentioned in their website here.
There was no such procession in September, 2025. The footage dates back to October, 2023 from a peace rally organized by the Napa Institute. The upcoming Eucharist Procession in NYC will take place on 14 October, 2025.
Thus the claim is misleading
