A video is going viral showing a pro-Khalistan supporter threatening another person of dire consequences. The supporter was heard saying in Punjabi, “Gujaratis, listen properly. We’ll give you two-two slaps. If you want to have langar, keep quiet and have langar. Your community has done a lot of drama after drinking urine. FACT CHECK

When we searched for the key frames of the video in Google Reverse Image Search, we found a similar incident reported in March this year but from Southall in the United Kingdom when the controversy over an attack on the Indian High Commissin in London was making headlines.

The incident was widely reported and a video was uploaded by the news outlet OneIndia with the tile:”Khalistani supporters threaten a Gujarati man in Southall.” The video shows pro-Khalistan leader Avtar Singh Khanda, one of the suspects in an attack on the Indian High Commission in London. The news on this incident can be seen here and here.

In the video, some protestors were seen heckling a passerby. In a twitter post, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa condemned the incident as well.

Hence, the video and the claim are false and unrelated.

Claim:  Gujaratis being threatened by Khalistanis in Canada after the recent diplomatic tensions
