FACT CHECK
DigitEYE India decided to investigate this claim and found it was misleading. The post amplifies PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s accusations as a literal call to war, potentially escalating unfounded global tensions.
When checked, the conference, held in Jerusalem, focused on the U.S.-Israel alignment amid the Gaza conflict, hostage issues and regional threats like Hamas.
A) PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments at the Finance Ministry Conference
On 15 September, 2025 according to a report by The Times of Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu during a finance ministry conference admitted that Israel is economically isolated. He further explained that it was due to the demographic changes in Europe as a result of immigration from Muslim-majority countries and the influence of anti-Israel actors on digital platforms, aided by new technologies. B) PM Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s Joint Conference
When we checked the official transcript of the press conference held between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Mentions about China were avoided and by no means did PM Netanyahu declare any sort of war on China.
On his part, Rubio reiterated the U.S. extending “maximum pressure” campaign against Iran, opposing its nuclear ambitions and missile programs, while highlighting European sanctions “snapback.” Netanyahu defended Israel’s independent strike in the Leqtaifiya district of Doha on 9 September 2025, saying terrorists have no immunity anywhere and did not rule out similar future actions. Take a look at the official transcript from the U.S. Department of State:
C) PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments on China while addressing 50 U.S. delegates
After conducting a keyword search with the phrase “Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments on China” we learned about the accusations during his speech to American delegates. This speech was delivered in Jerusalem on September 15, 2025 where Netanyahu addressed 50 delegates from the US at the “50 States – One Israel” conference.
Netanyahu admitted Israel’s “international isolation” and accused China and Qatar of orchestrating a propaganda campaign in the West, saying, “One is China and the other is Qatar.” He further said “organizing an attack on Israel’s legitimacy and the social media of the Western world and the United States. We will have to counter it and we will counter it with our own efforts..”

Another report published by EUnews observes how Netanyahu “first pointed the finger at Muslim immigrants in Europe, who have “pushed governments” in an anti-Israeli direction, and then at “certain states” that have allegedly orchestrated a campaign of hatred against the Jewish state.” View a snippet from the report below :
News published on 18th September 2025 by The Times of Israel report China being ‘deeply concerned’ at the previous remarks by PM Netanyahu. The report highlights the Chinese embassy in Israel’s statement which said that China is shocked and the “claim is groundless, undermines China-Israel relations, and is something that China is deeply concerned about and firmly opposed to.” The Chinese embassy was referring to comments by Netanyahu which in his speech delivered at the US delegates’ conference in Jerusalem on 15th September, 2025.
While PM Netanyahu did accuse China of a propaganda campaign, he did not declare war. The audio in the footage involves a commentary that exaggerates the matter and interprets it wrongly.
Thus, the claim is misleading.
