The X post was accompanied by two videos which can be viewed using the link here

Other users have shared similar footage, labeling it as scenes from the Russian Earthquake as seen here and here.

FACT CHECK
DigitEye India decided to fact-check the claim. Initial search on Google revealed that an earthquake did occur in Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on 30 July 2025.  In fact, the claim contains 2 videos:

Video-1–Earthquake did occur in Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on 30 July 2025, which is True.

Video-2–It captures an earthquake on 28th March 2025 that occured in Myanmar but misrepresented as footage from the Russian quake.

News outlets such as Mint and the Economic Times have covered the Russian earthquake extensively on 30th July 2025 which can be seen here. The Economic Times has covered the quake here.

Hence, only the Video-1 is authentic and it was shared by a Youtube channel after capturing it live when the earthquake of 8.7 magnitude hit Russia as seen here. The same is shared by the news media outlet OBOZ.UA in their report here where they have shared the video.

Now coming to the claim pertaining to the Video-2, it was actually captured when Myanmar was hit by a 7.7 magnitude erthquake that hit the country on 28th March 2025. Here is a video from the Daily Mail posted on its Instagram page after the Myanmar earthquake.

The same has been shared by Times Now in March 2025, showcasing the original clip of how the lady escaped the earthquake in Myanmar. The link of the reel can be found here.

Thus, the claim is partially true and misleading as the second video does not belong to the 8.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Russia on 30 July 2025.
